These days, almost everyone has a cell phone. I say “almost” because my parents still don’t have one and I’m guessing that they aren’t the last two people on Earth without a cell phone, as hard as that is to believe sometimes. lol Everyone with a cell phone either carries it in their hand, has it attached to their belt, or keeps it in the front pocket of their purse or jeans. In other words, you always keep your cell phone handy, right? But how many people keep a flashlight handy?
Another question … have you ever been out after dark? Or been looking for your car in a dark parking lot or parking garage? Of course you have! Silly question. Or maybe you work a night-shift so are out and about after dark all the time. Perhaps you have thought from time-to-time that having some extra light might be handy, or might make you feel a bit more secure or safe while walking at night. In my case, especially as the days get shorter, I am often out in the woods hiking with my dogs as the sun goes down. And I often take my cell phone with me since I get good reception in certain parts of the woods and have been known to sit down on a rock somewhere and make a phone call or two. One year for Christmas, my younger brother gave me a headlamp to wear when I’m out with the dogs after dark, and I use it frequently, although sometimes I feel like I could use some extra light. But unless I’m wearing something with a lot of pockets, it’s rather inconvenient to carry a cell phone AND a flashlight. So when I came across a flashlight that you could easily attach to a cell phone, I thought, “Of course! Why didn’t I think of that?” And at less than $10, it was too inexpensive to NOT buy.
