Safe & Sound Security Products Now Has Lower-Cost Shipping Options!

Yippee!!!

Yippee!!!

I’m very happy to announce that Safe & Sound Security Products now has lower-cost shipping options. You can still choose UPS or USPS Priority shipping, of course, but now you have more options. Everyone with a pulse knows that prices for everything keep going up, including shipping rates. Both UPS and USPS keep increasing their rates. Unlike other online businesses, we at Safe & Sound Security Products don’t “pad” our shipping and handling charges to increase our profit. We honestly try to keep them as low as possible.

Being an online shopper myself, I know how it feels to shop around for a product I want to buy, only to find that the shipping charges are outrageous. No one will pay shipping costs that almost double the cost of the original item. Too often, you can only save money on shipping costs by buying “bit ticket” items, buying at least $50 worth of goods, or several items at once. I’ve been told that the number one reason people are abandoning shopping carts (leaving before completing their purchase) is because of shipping cost shock.

Here at Safe & Sound Security Products, you now have the option of choosing First Class Package and Parcel Post, in addition to USPS Priority and UPS. So, for example, if you buy a $10 pepper spray, you now only have to pay $2.90 for shipping, rather than $9.68 for UPS or $6.35 for Priority Mail. Pretty sweet, huh?

And please be assured that any order you place, regardless of which shipping option you choose, will receive the same dedicated service. In almost every case, we are able to get your product to the shipper within 24 hours, depending on what time of day you place your order and the day of the week. So what are you waiting for? Check out the full-line of quality self-defense, personal security and family safety products at Safe & Sound Security Products.

The Battle Over the End of the Bush Tax Cuts

Friday, August 20th, 2010

This post is “off-topic,” but in light of all the controversy over the Bush Tax Cuts, I wanted to take a moment to share some information with my readers. This issue is so very important to our economy and to our families. I’ve been disappointed to see some misleading information being presented by groups and individuals who have a stake in maintaining their wealth at the expense of the rest of the 95% of Americans who are struggling to stay in their homes, save for retirement and take care of themselves and their families. Despite the propaganda coming from the right-wing, the Obama Administration is pushing to keep the Bush Tax Cuts in place for all but the wealthiest of Americans. Allowing the tax cuts to expire for the top 2 -5% of income earners in this country would go a long way toward solving our tremendous national deficit problem and getting our economy back into a healthier balance. For more information about this controversy, please read my article on Yahoo’s Associated Content site entitled The War Over the End of the Bush Tax Cuts: What is Really Going On? It may help you wade through some of the confusion and misinformation making its way into the media.
